Introduction

CCK (Clay Coated Kraft) Release Paper is the preferred choice for applications requiring superior flatness and dimensional stability. Unlike Glassine, which is super-calendered, CCK is a Kraft paper coated with a thin layer of Kaolin clay before siliconizing.

This clay layer fills the paper fibers, creating a smooth, non-porous surface that allows for high curing of silicone. As a manufacturer, we recommend CCK for "Sheet" applications (like A4 laser labels) and wide-format graphic films (like car wrapping vinyl) because it resists curling when exposed to heat or humidity changes better than glassine.
