Introduction

Gloss PP (Polypropylene) for Laser Printing addresses a common industry challenge: standard plastic films melt or curl inside high-heat fuser units of laser printers. Our material is different.

We apply a proprietary heat-stabilized top coating to a biaxially oriented polypropylene film. This coating does two things: 1) It anchors the dry toner powder so the image doesn't scratch off, and 2) It minimizes static build-up. This material is perfect for "Print-on-Demand" environments using desktop laser printers (like Xerox, Konica Minolta) or industrial digital presses.

    Material Structure

    Engineered for digital heat:

    1. Coating: Chemical primer for toner anchorage.
    2. Film: 60mic BOPP film.
    3. Liner: We use a lay-flat clay coated kraft (CCK) or heavy kraft liner to ensure sheets don't curl after printing.
