Introduction

Thermal Transfer Paper (often called Vellum or TT Paper) is the industry standard for Permanent, Long-Life variable information labeling. Unlike Direct Thermal paper which fades over time, Thermal Transfer paper is designed to be printed with a Ribbon (Wax or Wax/Resin).

Our material features a specially smoothened, matte, uncoated surface that "grabs" the melted ink from the ribbon, creating a permanent bond. This makes it ideal for inventory that will be stored for years, or shipping labels that travel through hot/humid environments where direct thermal would turn black.
